Wheel Well Lights

Has anyone ever installed Rock Lights or LED Pods inside the wheel wells?

How did you go about it?

Alright, when I said how did you go about it, I mean like how did you attach the lights? Did you attachem them just to the fender liner? Or did you drill all the way through to sheet metal? What about the rears and the composite bed?

Attach the light to the fender liner using 1/8" toggle bolts and be careful not to pinch the wire on the inside when tightening down.

 

Exactly. Just through the liner. I put one on each side in the middle using a scrap l shaped piece of steel.

 

good idea. Wish I thought of that. I ended up squeezing my hand over the fender liner using the nut/bolt that came with my kit.

 

How much space is there between the fender liner and the fender itself? How long/short must the toggle bolts be?

 

Not exactly sure but I had my wreck-it-ralph hands in there before I came up with the toggle bolt idea and the bolts wont contact the fender. There's plenty of room between the liner and fender.
