Wheel Well Plastic

    went up on tires and there is enough clearance if it wasn't for this area where it rubs on plastic when sharp turns occur. It's on the back inside lip near the bottom. It's sitting about a good 3/4" out from the well itself. I want to put a 1/2" self tapping screw (sheet metal screw) in that wall area. There's no snap pins along that whole edge where I think there should have been at least 2. Doesn't make sense. I don't see any reason I can't bring that in w/ a screw.
