    normally you'll have restrictions on length of stay (typically 14 days) and they normally want you to camp like 100 feet from the water...and definitely when going to the bathroom, do it away from the water...

    and stay on the trail...you can camp off the trail, but do not drive off the trail...that's how shit gets shut down

    How much are we talking? I am assuming that you have a pilot licence? We saw some prop planes cruising above us and doing tricks this weekend up by Hancock, it would be sooooo cool to be able to cruise around the mountains like that.

    There are a bunch of spots already disturbed with rock fire rings, not designated with signs though. There are a ton of them all over Four Mile. I live in Buena Vista and camp up there on a regular basis. Some of best views of the Collegiate Peaks are from that area.

    Just stay on designated trails/roads and leave your site cleaner than when you arrived. There have been more and more people every year up there and my friends and I pick up trash that was left behind on a regular basis. We want to keep these areas open and taking care of them will help!
