I searched through multiple threads but couldn't find anything specifically on the Wheeler's 2" AAL. I was curious if anyone has had any experience with this option. Through my digging around, it seems that the progressive AAL options seem to ride better than a single lead system. I would also be curious for some feedback from someone that has ran both a single leaf and progressive AAL.

Iv had both, the single AAL was on stock suspension and the progressive AAL was with bilstein 5160 shocks.

I want to say the progressive did handle the bottom outs better but if I’m being honest I’m not sure I could actually tell the difference. Probably more just all in my head haha

both where definitely the same on the street.

going from progressive AAL to the icon RXT leaf pack and hammer hangers was a very noticeable difference however

It's good to know you didn't notice a big difference between the 2 different AALs. I am wanting to do a 2" lift front and rear to keep the rake but am trying to avoid a whole new leaf pack. I don't carry weight often enough to need the beefed up pack or justify the additional cost.
