I called Dan on Monday - he totaled my order, charged it, and shipped it. Though as I was talking with him he mentioned that some of the more popular items may become back ordered. So if you haven't heard from him and you haven't been charged you may want to call him and see what's up.

Yeah basically got 1/2 off shipping my entire order from this group buy... sort of a drop in the bucket when you look at the overall cost of a full susp. replacement with Billies/881's/5pack/extras. But glad we could help Wheelers sell a ton of product ;)

Yes, leafs are heavy. But this was part of the homework. Call Dan to get an estimate for shipping to your zip so you understand the cost.

Shipping leafs of any kind anywhere is expensive.

But you weren't charged sales tax. Oregon has none. If you bought them "locally" or went and picked them up yourself from somewhere, you'd pay sales tax. And gas, which is so cheap now...

    Concur.

My leafs, 881s, and misc hardware arrived today.:D Unfortunately, install will wait until I get a set of 5100s, which I just wasn't ready to buy yet. (Too many "needs", not enough discretionary fundage... :()

Hey btw - Sort of late but, If you got front 5100's + new springs and plan on getting your front shocks 'pre-built' locally(Have them assembled and ready to just bolt in on the 'big install day' So you can still drive around on your current set up and not build the new ones with pieces from your old susp. while your truck is on the rack...)

Buy the $20 bushing kit from Wheelers - Or... get 'em from you Toyota Dealer.
From DownSouth Motorsports website: Toyota Factory Bushing Part #s are: 90948-01056 & 90948-01057, and you will need to get '2' of each.

You'll also need top-plates but i can't find a link for that - i had my mechanic whose doing just the strut/spring assembly find them in his parts locator... I think his cost was ~17$ ea. retail was of course higher...

Hope this helps someone in their prep as it would've helped me! (thought i'd ordered the kit from wheelers but guess i skipped it - My Fault, not Wheelers.)

DblCabMN, I'm a bit confused. Do the shocks not come with the bushings? For the front, I ordered the following:

Bilstein 5100 0-2.5" Lift Front Strut Set
Strut Stem Cushion and Washer Kit
OME 881 Tacoma "Medium" Front Coil Spring Set
    Front Differential Drop Kit
Wheelers is gonna assemble the struts/springs

Are the Top Plates and Bushings that you are referring too the same as the Strut Stem Cushion and Washer Kit, or are they something additional that I need to track down? If they are different, does anyone know if Wheelers carries them? If they do... I don't think that my stuff has shipped yet, so I might still be able to add them to my order.

You bought: Strut Stem Cushion and Washer Kit

Which is what i needed... and is the same as the thing i was talking about. You'll be fine, esp. since Wheelers in assembling = You won't need to buy separate top plates either (My understanding is that Wheelers assembly fee incl.'s Top plates and the SSCWK... Please correct me YotaDan if i'm wrong - I'm just recalling what i thought i'd read on the website.)

Local Toyota Dealer has 0 - Apparently they won't sell separate :/

Time jack up the Taco and just do the fronts in one sitting.
