Ive only put maybe 100lbs back so far, bout 1/2 inch down. I hauled a 1500lb of time with the dakars, nowhere close to the bump stops, felt nice then. If your going to be over 200lbs all the time, the dakars might be your choice. Now to make things more complex, wheelers offers a single aal to their 8 pack, as well as an HD 5 leaf pack. Give @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc a call, they are great people, and will help you figure out what's you would be most happy with!! I wish I would have called them in the first place!!

I’ve actually bought most of my suspension from them, spacers for the front and AAL as well. If I would have known of them sooner the 885s and 5100s would have come from them too. I’ll have to talk to them when the time comes, I’m still in planning stages because I’ll do shocks brake lines and I bolt flip all at the same time.

So just to update, springs have settled about 1/2 inch in a couple hundred. Threw a couple of 80lb bags of quickrete to give them some weight. With that, still sitting about 24 hub to fender, rides smooth with just a bit if weight. I think you could run 300 or so all the time with an inch or so of sag.

Just to be clear you mean sag an inch from 24in or from your original 25 measurement?

Alright, that’s where I’m at with my 3 leaf AAL and I wanna stay there. I know that I can get to those numbers with the new EL095 pack but if this rides smoother I think I’d rather try it.

Well I’ll be using you as my guinea pig. I’ll check back if you do update on how your liking everything and if you see any more sagging. Nice to know there’s a AAL for this pack though too.

Yeah, not much put there on these packs!! So far I'm happy, and I'm hoping they loose another inch or so in the months ahead!! Will keep posting updates, but yeah the aal option is nice on these!!!

    Some of the things...
These look very interesting to me. I was set on Dakars but more reviews about their stiffness has me leaning elsewhere. I spend half the year with an empty bed and half the year with a bed rack, tent, awning, and some gear (250-300lbs max) My stock leaves with wheeler's 3 leaf aal are flat after 3 years of abuse so I'm looking for a replacement. Hopefully more guys will chime in on their performance.

@Dacon has an extra set of Icon replacement leaf packs for a better deal than the wheelers (he wanted $550 compared to $699). I was originally going with the wheelers, but the versatility of the icon coming with extra add a leaf made it a no brainer. @JerryTaco and several others have the icon which swayed my decision.

Hey all, been busy with work and a little trip to Costa Rica!! Haven't had a lot of time to play with the suspension off road!!! Still love it driving to work, still feel it needs time to settle!!

I still have this pack uninstalled so no review as of now. I don't know when I will get them on the truck, probably will get longer shocks and lines before that happens. Now that winter is here it will not be anytime soon.

So today, installed some delta joints up front, and loaded the back with 320lbs of concrete mix in bags. Man, what a difference, I think the springs are still breaking in, with our trucks being so light in the rear anyways, they ride like a champ now, and measure about 23 inches hub to fender. Just where I want to be!!! Good reason to add some armor in the future!!!

So update, had been in a weeklong journey through Utah's amazing backcountry, these 2.0 rears are killing me!!! Finally going to go 2.5 from accutune, think that'll make all the difference in the world. I took out the 3rd leave before this trip, that'll be going back in as well to get my full lift back!!! Will update within a month to let u all know!!

Front shocks are off to get revalved. Also will be upgrading the rear to fox 2.5 with dsc. Without any shocks installed these springs flex very well!! I am not impressed with the fox 2.0 valving.... Not one bit. Will update in a week or so when I get everything back and installed!!
