My stuff showed up today :D

...but I have to wait until Monday to pick it up from my Dad's place. Graduation weekend is the busiest time of year where I work ;[

They are installed now, I gained about 1" but I do have a lumber rack on the truck. I did get confused in one area, the factory leafs had a tapered shim and none on the Wheelers, I removed the shim from the factory leafs, reamed out the hole to 9/16" and slid it over the nubbin on the Wheelers.
The nuts and bolts were a surprise, as soon as I broke them loose the nuts spun off by hand. No salt here and 180K on the truck.

So about how long did this take you? Where was the shim located? Between the leafs and axle?
    Nubbin? :D

It took me a little over four hours but I am old and move slow, shim is between the axle and leafs, I had to use C clamps on the old leafs to hold them while I undid the bolt that holds the leafs together (that is why I drilled the shim, so I would not have to take the new leafs apart) Nubbin-head of the bolt that holds the leafs together. Maybe a bad word choice.

Gotcha, it'll most likely take me just as long. I haven't even looked to see if mine has a shim but I'll most likely add it back as well.

I have only driven it a little bit around town but the ride seems about the same, I did not change shocks.

Still waiting on mine. Might leave work and swing by the house to check if they have been there yet. Anyone else have them installed? Feedback?

Got mine today. I'll make sure to post some before and after pics. Thanks to everybody that made this happen. Especially everyone at wheelers. They will definitely get my business in the future.

    Well thats done...

It took my father and I right at 2 1/2 hours to knock it out, gained right 1 1/2" over what I was sagging at before, (29" from the bottom of the rim took the bottom of my flares, to 30 1/2" after.

Took it for a test drive and emeditly noticed that rear was a lot firmer around corners, tighter on braking, and no more axle wrap. :woot:

Shouldn't need them. My cousin put dakars on his reg cab and didn't get them. He got 3" of lift! So far so good.

A little of both, when I jacked up my truck on the driver side I had to take the brake line bracket loose from the axle to get it to drop enough to swap out everything and even then my line was so tight that you could pluck it like a guitar string.
After we put everything back together we were looking at it and if you put the truck on a lift or lifted the truck by the frame and the axle swung down it is gona be a tight stretch, so a new line just to be safe.

Pics are coming, most likely will be tomorrow before I can up load them to the wife's laptop.

I wish these gave more lift :( Haven't installed yet though as I'm waiting for my 1" shackles to go with them. (Ordered shackles yesterday).

Then again I'm trying to retain the 3" lift height I'm at right now.
