Awesome! I needs to hit that trail! Big bear camping weekend? You guide? And also white mountain with @dtaco06 guiding that one.

I remember that exact spot from a couple years back when I went with my dad and his jeep. Seems like shards of glass when you're driving over those rocks. Don't remember the trail much but it was pretty gnarly!

Sounds like a plan! Although I think Alex @MADSTEEZE would be the better guide, he knows that trail better than I do (today was my first time), he hit it up with some TTORA guys a little while back. But he and I were talking earlier today that this could be a rad place to do our next big Wheeler's Anonymous meet @SlipperyTaco :boink: There are so many trails all around the area and places to camp, it could be a great spot for a weekend like we did at Pismo

Haha, I made that same comment about those rocks sounding like glass, it sounded like we were driving over glass bottles the whole time.

We came across at least a dozen other vehicles and they were all Jeeps, they are everywhere out there. The first big obstacle had several Jeeps all parked around it trying to get up one at a time, they let Alex and I go through and we walked over it like it was nothing...was fun showing off to the Jeep guys :D

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Damn that looks gnarly, rock city much?! @eon_blue

Yeah man, Alex told me at the beginning of the trip that it was comparable to MJT but honestly I think it was tougher, just a little bit shorter. Didn't get any pics of the gnarliest stuff, wish I did now but doing trails like that I always seem to do a better job getting pics the 2nd or 3rd time going lol.

The Holcomb Valley yellow post site holds the most amount of rigs and a great price: free. Serrano Campground is 30 p night and includes hot showers and is right on the lake. Some sites close in October including Serrano. Certain trails close the gates once snow packs in. Best to get a move on on planning this meet. Might be a good idea to start planning a desert meet. Heading into the season. Anza, Joshua Tree, Superstition, Mojave, etc.

Yup, I haven't been to many trails, but I remember some pretty big rocks on this one. First like 20 min into the ride we went up some rocks, and on the way down we landed on one of those sharps rocks and punctured our tire..lol our jeep wasn't really upgraded besides a basic suspension/lift, and bigger tires but I don't remember coming out with much more damage. Maybe took a different trail

Pretty intense rock or fall to puncture tread on a quality offroad tire! Or was it not aired down?

Yeah we aired down, i just don't exactly remember how it happen. but from what I do remember, whatever we drove over, the front right tire went up in the air so when it came down, it just landed onto the rock that caused the puncture.

Shale rock is no joke. Did you plug and fill on site? Or change your tire in the middle of it all? That's a spot where the hi lift would definitely need the base attachment I presume. Or at least wish you had one while ass pucker level at max limit. Haha

At this point I'm going to say yes.

Haven't really done much planning lately. I'll add it to the calendar. Is this an overnight thing?

@goblue82 we managed to change the tire for the spare, but i do remember that as the jeep was going up, I kind of already had visualized the end result once we'd come back down and sure enough it played out that way haha

Yeah if I hadn't already put my ko2s through the ringer on several other trails I would've been really worried about them today, E rated tires are definitley the way to go with this kind of stuff. They definitely lost a few more chunks of tread on that trail though

There are plenty of trails that can be run for those that are stock or even 2wd.

Well got a fair amount of work done on the rear end. Ripped the bed off and fitted/welded a upper shock relocation crossmember and plated a section of the frame. Also welded the lower shock mounts an cycled everything. Deaver j59 pack an King 2.5 10" with the resi clickers because mall crawler. Also threw some wheelers bumps on it an a u bolt flip kit. Then played around with the forklift:Dimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
