Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
If the 1st gens are like the 2nd they usually cut a crossmember that is forward and under the radiator to increase clearance.

    This interferes with factory skids.

Literally. It's a shame shops only advertise plate armor for the 2nd gen, really.

I'll have to look into it but I seem to remember reading that some of the 1st gen bumpers I was looking at worked with the stock skids, in fact I'm certain there was at least one....just can't recall which. But yeah, I don't like having my options limited too much so it's definitely worth considering.

That's part of the reason I went with allpro tube front bumper is because their skids mount up flush to the front bumper perfectly.

When i was looking into bumpers an skids I was never sure which combinations would play nicely with each other

Safe to say they need to be changed then, the stock copper plugs are supposed to be changed every 30k if I remember right. Cheap (relatively) preventative maintenance!

Do it now, I would have first day I brought it home unless the previous owner had the papers to show they were brand new.

WOn't hurt, will ease your mind. And it's fun to wrench your rig.

Previous owners had all maintenance done at the dealership.

When I got it I changed the radiator, all hoses, water pump, t belt, and rebuilt t case (small leak)..

Only rescently started to feel it being sluggish when i got out here, could it possibly be elevation?? Shouldn't effect it though

And a small shake when idling :/

That's about what I average city/hwy combined, probably 50/50 both with the supercharger. Last time I calculated it on an entire highway tank it was 20. I have a lot less weight though with stock size tires and less armor.

It's those bigger meats and bumpers lol, mostly why I'm so hesitant to upgrade those from stock

True, I also rarely ever push the supercharger :crapstorm:

Not sure I ever mentioned this to you guys (I did in my first thread on TW) but I was initially trying to sell the s/c when I got the truck because I didn't feel I needed it, haha.

Jeez thank goodness you didn't make that mistake. Now we gotta pull all those soft bits off the nose and booty so she really climbs!
