Know your pain. I have a stg 2 clutch which is like a light switch. I try everything in my way to prevent any tech to touch my truck. When I change tires, I bring them loose to the tire place.

tire places...:annoyed: I try to get them to let me change my own tires at their shop. I always bring my PPE with me and tell them i'll still pay the labor and sign a waver i would just rather do it myself. I've yet to have one let me do it.

I just don't trust them with my lug nuts and that impact gun. Tires to rims are fine. I don't have expensive rims.

    Whole lotta stuff
Scariest one I've had was an occupational hazard of my first job. Hot water line heated at 200 degrees and pressurized to 1,200 Psi, blew about 3 feet in front of my face because the burner cutoff valve was slipping and apparently a certain transfer line doesn't like that. That machine freaked me out sometimes.

using the impact to take them off doesn't bother me, it's them using it to put the lugs on and hitting it for while so they don't have to put a torque wrench to it.

Oh fuck! I know exactly what you're talking about. Yikes.

I work with steam as well. Superheated and saturated. That superheated shit is gnarly. Can't see it, can't smell it, but you can sure hear it when its leaking. A pinhole leak can cut your arm off if you get too close. I've have 2nd degree burns over 50% of my body when I was in the navy from a saturated steam burn. All due to me trusting someone's tag out/ lock out verbal promise. Since then I always verify their L/O personally before I start anything. Including the electrical side. I don't wanna be an OSHA statistic.

Yeah that is what I was referring to. You know they load the nut in the gun too instead of starting them by hand.
