They cycle way more often than that. Mine cycle once a minute and I've never met anyone who's didn't.

How was Rowher yesterday? I really wanted to make it, but some stuff came up.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
No better/worse than ever before. A few rough spots that are getting carved out from people spinning tires. A little bit of water and some soggy sands on the top of the hills. It was a nice trip.

Sounds like it was a good trip. I need to get tires and a lift on my Tundra. Lack of rear locker doesn't help either.

I actually did employ A-TRAC and the locker in a few places. Trying to not spin off these new M/Ts and chew them up . Highlight of the trip was @eon_blue and I "rescuing" a stuck Jeep going up the backside of Rowher.

Yeah slipping the tires and waiting for our limited slip to engage is not good at all for tires. But it does give me an excuse to get new tires. :D

Two Toyotas helping a Jeep out. Nice! hahaha

How are you liking the KM2 tires? I am debating what tires to get on the tundra.

    Falken AT3w, KM2, KO2 or Cooper AT3

That was pretty cool, they were stoked they didn't have to turn around (at least not at that spot). I always try to emphasize how important airing down is to people that are afraid to go any lower than 25psi...on a steep hill climb like that they weren't going any where with that much tire pressure and those half bald A/T tires. I was actually kind of surprised they got up so easily after airing down and picking a different line, thought we might have to pull them up lol

It was fun, Drinkwater/Rowher is so much more enjoyable this time of year when it's cooler and cloudy. Then again I think that goes for any wheeling trip in my book, lol. I hate wheeling in the heat. I only tagged my new skid plate in one spot though, was hoping for a little more carnage :(

If you can live with MTs on the street then go with the KM2s, they'll outperform the A/Ts off-road under probably any circumstance. You'll take more of a MPG and road noise hit on the street though.

haha yeah I didn't think about that, that would've done it for sure. Another highlight of the trip was going down the Rowher 4x4 trail toward the Sierra Highway entrance....I was behind Denny and his truck dipped into a rut that was a lot deeper than any of us remember it being....he 3 wheeled that bitch something fierce.

Yeah I think A/Ts is the best route for the mean time. You make a good point, I am already getting only 12mpg to work. With KM2 it will go down to 8-9mpg. :D

14s is not bad at all! My tacoma only does like 15 around town. It only has 32" Falken P rated A/T tires. Plus it's a 2wd.

Literally, trail grapplers are (on my 16" wheels) about 100lbs each. These things don't fuck around. I can be going down hill and still losing momentum off the gas

They worked great though. Only areas I had wheel spin was really a result of that part-time 4WD with open front diff. A-TRAC filled the gap easily when I needed it.

Yeah truck doesn't like a 3 mile commute. On the HWY I am at like 18-19 mpg. When I had 245 tires I was getting 20-21 hwy, and around 17 street. The new tires/wheels killed my MPG.
