Yeah truck doesn't like a 3 mile commute. On the HWY I am at like 18-19 mpg. When I had 245 tires I was getting 20-21 hwy, and around 17 street. The new tires/wheels killed my MPG.

Oh shit... will the gear oil damage the compressor? How much work to get the o-ring in place?

Mine was squirting oil out of the breather on the actuator for like 3 years and it still worked completely fine. Check the breather though

They blow KM2s out of the water. Affordable price, very underrated tire. These were voted best MT a few years ago. Kinda a sleeper tire. But they fuckin rock in the snow too

I'd be making an excuse to drive a bit out of the way for coffee. That ain't even enough to warm it up!

Oh it is when you have like 10 lights and it still takes you 15 minutes to get to work. :annoyed:

I use to have a 38 mile commute and my truck was giving me 21 mpg back then with stock tires. So I really shouldn't complain about a 3-4 mile commute even with 15 mpg.

Valve cover gaskets are not difficult to do at all. I haven't done one on a 1st gen but all motors I have done them on have been a breeze.

Anyone have any input on tire deflators? I'm actually tired of hugging the tire with a rock in hand poking at the valve stem...
