    Yeppers!
    16x7 ... Well shit!
Thats making me wonder about my spare..??
I have my 35” KM2 mounted to the spare steelie rim... Was just trying to research what size that steel rim is and not finding a good answer? Plan on getting a fourth rim to match my ProComps just haven’t gotten to it...

You should be fine if it is a spare trail to get you out of a situation, but you run the risk of popping the bead if you off road it.

And I think most toyota wheels are 7" wide. I am not aware of any stock wheels that are 8".

I planned on getting a set of 5 steelies for $100 from the 4WP thing that they have at the Ontario Convention Center. I gotta keep an eye on CL and pirate so hopefully something pops up.

    No it wouldn’t.

Airing down on a 16x7 is legitimately less sketchy that a 16x8. You’re putting more force on that outer rim lip, aka less probably of popping a bead. There isn’t anything bad about it other than you might have to air down a little more to get the same foot print you would with a 16x8.

I have a 16x7 spare you can have Danny

I might be pulling off 3 15x8 6 lug steel wheels. They are 4” backspacing. I want to get my hands on some 4.5” backspace rims. It’s just the cheap rims you get from summit.

Welcome to the debate I'm having. I'm probably going to pick up a matching wheel for my spare and then start to do a 5 tire rotation when I need to get a new set of tires. Cause buying 4 35's isn't expensive enough.

Even tire wear throughout. That way if a I destroy a tire beyond repair, the spare i put on can stay on and all the tires are at the same wear point. that way i'm not running 3 tires at half tread and 1 brand new tire. not sure if that affects anything for sure but the internet says it will mess up your diff's. soooo why the hell not.

lol cause "extending M/T 35's tire life on a vehicle primarily used for off road" is a thing.... hahaha good one Danny.

But yes, if i can squeeze a few more miles out of tires, I'm all for it.

I'm in the market for 5 16X8 Wheels if anyone is selling or sees anything... don't need to be clean or pretty cause I'll beat them up anyways.

What wheels are you running? I've been trying to research if a 35" will clear with 4.5" back spacing or if 4.25", 4.10" or 4.00" would be needed to clear on a 2nd gen.
