Damn shame...beautiful area esp up in the mountains. Seems like it would be mostly private land though.

Ya a quick Google search basically just shows Hollister Hills about an hour away, might check it out.

Took nearly 2 tanks of gas just to get here from LA yesterday so I don't want to venture too far lol.

Hollister is a lot of fun! Make sure to stop at the motorcycle park entrance first, you'll pay your fee and get the code to the lock to get into the 4x4 area. It's a few miles further down the road.

There are some seriously gnarly trails out there too, tow your dedicated trail rig kinda trails. Lots for the taco though too!

Pictures are from the "top of the world" at least I think that's what it's called now haha. And then the small mud pit.

So anyone get or treat their rigs to anything good for xmas?

Got a few gift cards to spend on the truck, a Trasharoo aka 'truck backpack' and a few issues of Tread magazine basically glorifying Jeeps but has some interesting content.

The lady got me a real nice quality Benchmade knife.

Jumped on the RTIC sale and got a 65 qt cooler. Got tired of bumming cooler space from friends and borrowing my gf’s dad’s cooler.

It hangs pretty low behind the passenger tire, I've tagged it on a rock more than a few times and had to get it rewelded in place. Would prefer it to dump before the tire and higher up
