I will until they get installed.

Wife already knows I need to go back to @glorifiedwelder to finish installing parts.
Once they are in and his is back from his trip then the Kings and the TC LCA will get installed.

You know it’s just a snowball effect from there right? I installed the fronts, and within a month I was ordering the rears.

Oh I plan on doing the rears within a month but I am gonna do BAMF shock relocation and 12 Kings in the rear :D

At this point I just want to finish the suspension and this may be the only mods I can fund this year.

3.0's in stock location or even with the bamf or archive relocate in the rear is a complete waste of money. Unless you're long travel and possibly 4-linked in the rear, there is no need for a 3.0 shock. You'll never hear the oil up enough to need it and the valving stack is so thick at that point it would be extremely difficult to tune

I'd think a Tacoma with 3.0 shocks is either:
A - Linked, long travel, caged with minimal stock parts left
B - Glorified insta famous mall crawler with 10k followers liking parking lot and fire road pics

In for a JT trip even if that means leaving my taco at camp and joining in on the 4x4 trail sitting shotgun!

Hahaha fuckin' Miah. You need a set of recovery gear just for him

Exactly. But the ones in those links were oem replacements, so I guess fitting for your option B

And we have our winner! The correct answer is B.

agreed. No way with stock or mid travel you will ever use the 3.0 to their capacity. Only truck that a 3.0 would make sense would be one bad ass LT truck but then again, those aren't stock/mid travel length shocks like these ones.

but you gotta have it on your mall crawler to brag about haveing 3.0's while every one else has small dick 2.5's.

There is a reason to have the Shock relocate kit to pick up more droop outta the rear end for crawling. But that being said, for crawling and some mid travel high speed running, you'll never use 3.0's for what they were designed for.
