Yeah it's close. When Kyle checked mine at 70mph I was really going 78.

Yep. youll still want to check it against GPS when you can. Your 4.88 gears comes into play as well. That calculator assumes no changes in gearing.

It could be where 4runners have the speed sensor placed. if it is used off the ABS Tone ring then gear ratios will not affect it. but if it a speed sensor on the out put shaft of the transmission, then yes, it will come into play.

you are correct. Toyota uses the ABS Tone ring at the wheel. gears do not matter. just wheel hub speed. So yes, 70 MPH is 78-79 actual. My whole comments in this section are total irreverent. I don't know shit.

They worked great off road. On road they are a bit stiff with the 700lbs coils (I was on 650 lbs before) but not worth the time to swap the coils out. Eventually will add a winch up front and if that still isn't enough Ill change the aluminum front bumper to a steel one.

They'll break in and start to feel better over time, I noticed that with mine. Really stiff at first but after a few wheeling trips they softened up. The winch will help too.

That’s about what mine reads. Scan gauge correction was 12% on my truck.

Yeah it sounds good, you could go a little further and get the manufacturer specs for your stock size and current size and get the *true* speed differential, it will be more accurate than what the generic calculator says. I'm not much of a fan of generic calculators, some models of tires of the same size can actually vary by a lot like 1/2"+
