Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Is that the stupid fucking air pump thing that ends up failing under the hood? The idiotic emissions thing?
Depending on what exhaust you're running it's pretty fair to guess you'll hear it buzzing around

Shit well hopefully mine fails before 2022. I don't see myself crossing 100kmi anytime soon now that the dear truck gets to rest. :D

wait so they're only offering to cover it if it fails? Figure it's been happening to so many 2012 owners that they'd offer to at least check it/replace it before it leaves you stranded somewhere lol.

Not sure? I haven't recieved any paperwork yet. Maybe I'll run the VIN again... I believe @ODNAREM has a 2WD though... That may be a difference.

Run your vin as i received the paperwork in the mail about a week ago.Yes i’m 2WD and not sure or wouldn’t image it would be any different with a 4WD.My local dealership and the service writer i use checked/diagnosed at no charge so i’m good.

Moisture buildup which could make the pump fail or worn valves. What’s BS is that if failure occurs it only takes the mechanic/technician approximately 1hr labor time for repair’s and the dealership charges $2k-$3k.So run your vin or check your mail. It’s covered at no cost like i mentioned.I believe those that had failure before and paid the rediculous charges are getting compensated/reimbursed from Toyota.

Gnarly. At least Toyota is making it right. More points for them and more reason I love my choice.

haha I was just in that thread actually. Yeah it looks like they're sticking to mainly the fire roads and 2wd stuff, I'm more set on doing White Mountain. Supposed to get hit with snow tomorrow and on Saturday while we're there, should be a good time

I'm a little worried about my brand new door handles TBH...I swear to god if they break again (both times were the only two times I've been in snow this winter) I'm going to lose my shit

Are they aftermarket? Seems like they are a bit weaker than OEM. I have to pull apart the whole mechanism every year to clean it up because they get hard to pull open.

The ones that broke were my original OEM ones, granted they were 14 years old...just funny that they both went out within a few weeks of one another. I replaced the passenger side with a Dorman brand handle but the driver's side I went OEM, was the only one I could find on Amazon that could ship quickly.

OEM was $80, the Dorman was only $20 but it feels sturdy. Had good reviews, too. eBay has them for $5 but I don't trust those lol.
