All those big tires and fancy suspensions seem like a waste of money to me. My 4x4 sport has been kicking ass all week.

Probably would seem like a waste to someone with tube steps and their front wind deflector still attached.

    EDIT: and mud flaps

My seat warmers keep me warm at night, and my automatic rear window allows me to throw all my empties into my bed without littering. My third gen is a dream come true, obviously.

Correction: Predator Steps, and they're the coolest.
And how exactly to propose to deflect wind with a clunky old winch on the front of your "rig." All your light bars are killing your gas mileage BTW.
And don't hate on the mud flaps. As you can see, mud be flappin.

Wasn't this my point? You don't need big heavy off road tires.

Just kidding guys, I am avoiding getting work done by trolling the offroad community with my truck that is meant for driving on the streets.

Truth is I'm just jealous, and I can't wait until the day that I take off my side steps and trade them for sliders.

I didn't wreck anyone's driveway. I work on a construction site that got tons of rain, and I took the scenic route off the site. And just to get you guys excited, I turned the traction control COMPLETELY OFF. I know what you're thinking, I could have gotten stuck. . . I didn't.

Ended up getting the Tuff Stuff Delta (pretty much the same as the Smittybilt Overlander). Missed out on the deals that would have made the Smittybilt cheaper, so I went with the Tuff Stuff and got it for $100 off by picking it up. $800 cash

Solid choice! So far no issues with Madison's tuff stuff delta tent aside from sometimes the hinge is a pain to get the two platforms to line up with one another.

I naively thought I could set it up in an hour tonight before my hockey game...big mistake, lol. Thing is a beast to try and move around, I originally planned on only keeping it on the truck when I was going to use it, but now I think I'm probably just going to leave it on haha. It's heavy AF, 120lbs or something like that. Not terribly heavy but it's size and shape make it really difficult to move on your own.

If anyone else is considering it, they've only got one left as of this afternoon when I picked mine up...grab it while you can (the others they sell are over $1k).

They make bigger ones for up to 5 people, or you can get a smaller one like mine and get the "annex room" attachment that stretches from the top of the tent to the ground and make the little ones sleep down there lol.
