My thought on it is....you are in new territory with the 35's, lockers etc.... go practice with what you got. Save the money for a potential repair and trash the rims you got messing around. Get the scs rims after that..... unless the EAF horn is blowing. Lol just my .02

Based on my experience, you won't get much use out of beadlocks on 35's while crawling. I've tried going down to single digits on Dishpan/Holcomb/Gold mountain and was getting hung up A LOT. I get more use out of mine driving fast aired down really low, really smooths things out. With your short wheel base you might be able to get more out of them than me though. OTOH now that you are double locked, traction will rarely be an issue, you're more likely to get stuck on your frame/diff/skids/whatever than having all 4 tires spinning in loose dirt.

I cranked a rock on the side of the trail so hard back in January I thought I fucked something up BAD. When I hit the rock it shifted the front end of the truck laterally a couple inches. I thought the wheel would have been damaged, however it just creased the tire over the beadlock ring and somehow didn't pinch/cut through the tire, but it left a black mark where the rubber pinched over.

That's pretty much what I've been doing. It's a bit of work and definitely expensive, but there are ways to save a buck here and there. Like with these, have them rebuilt, re-valved, and they'll be right as rain. I still have some intention of going LT one day, but not any time soon.

Icon gets a bad rap for having less corrosion resistance and a few less component treatments but the performance seems to be pretty good. Nothing a bit of clear coat can't fix.

@dtaco06 I bought these off of Vin at SCS so if you wanted to pair them with your SRT8s, it would be appropriate.
