Your wheel base sometimes plays in your favor and sometimes kills you. If we ever do a moab run, that is where it is most apparent. I was following Russ in his 3rd gen 4Runner and he would walk right up and over an obstacle. I would try the same line and get all sorts of hung up. Then the very next opstacle would kick his ass and I’d walk up it like it was nothing. So wheelbase isn’t a pro or con.

Damnit. You got me there. Zero time to use it. I’m barley have enough time to install my own regear and locker...

As soon as work slows down, plan on me joining you on every one of those trips. Gonna have to go base outta the Utah cabin one of these trips and backpack with @Mike likes Tacos

    Paria Canyon? :D
Photo from an overnight-er into the Buckskin Gulch portion of it a couple years ago

The first trip report I found that looked decent.

I’m down. I’ve blocked out some dates that overlap so that I can take a few extra days and get away from work. Hopefully they work out with the deals.

I have this very tent... So far I’m pretty stoked on it! Can’t really say that I have any issues. Couple of minor things come to mind but I’m pretty sure those are issues with every & all RTT... I upgraded the mounting hardware to exhaust clamps and I also recommend loctite the hardware mounting the tent floor to the rails as those rattled loose on the very first run. Other wise, extremely happy for the most affordable on the market. Check 4wheelparts as I found mine one sale there...

Just checked with east coast gear supply. We can swap my third with the damaged one at your house and sell that complete e locker axle.

Should we start planning the intervention now?

I have spare complete elocker rear axle at home with blown out gears. We were talking about trussing it, rebuild and if @Mike likes Tacos does spring under we could also cut mounts off.

I have plenty of room to carry the third. And we all know it will happen eventually. I'd only bring for the really gnarly trails or long rock crawl trips like Dusy Ershim. Too bad you didnt get 4.56 cause me you and Kyle could all use it.

Unless you carry everything else to do the set up the gears won't last long. If you strip a R&P on the trail just remove the ring and continue in front wheel drive
