Swamp lake is one I'm hoping to do as well. I hear that one of the more difficult trails up there. I'll keep ya in the loop for dusy if you interested. We are thinking August 16-20 if its open.

One of the best times on a trail for me was on Swamp Lake. We were the first known group of IFS rigs to do Swamp(theres a write up about at TTORA somewhere). It was hard for sure, we were pretty much in over our heads. One of the dudes in our group basically said fuck this, got out of has tacoma and started walking back to the trail head. Someone else got in it and drove it like they stole it for the rest of the trail. My buddy in his FJC broke a ring gear at the bottom of Chicken Rock, spent the last 15 hours daisy-chaining him out. A lot of good memories and fun times were made that weekend. But the one that stands out the most was the hordes of mosquitoes once we got close to Swamp Lake, there was just one spray bottle of bug repellent shared by everyone and it wasn't close to being enough.

That sounds like a good time. @Jimmynolife has a cool trip report on it too. He mentioned that it would be very difficult with IFS on 35s. I always bring a bunch of bug spray when Im out in the summer. That must have sucked.lol

Look like he has a sport so no locker..? That sucks. He gonna miss a ton of trails without at least one locker.
