For sure gas>flux core. I am probably the wrong person to ask as far as what equipment to get. I am more of a buy once, cry once shopper. I hate having to upgrade later so I usually end up spending more than I should or need to.

Well boys as of today, which is my birthday, I am no longer in the 2wd crowd and am now the proud owner of a 2011 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4 in Magnetic Grey.

It's going. ALMOST had one yesterday, missed the sale by a matter of an hour or two. I have my bike to get to and from work and Madison's truck so we can still go wheel and camp. I'm not in a rush, I just want one haha so I'm being patient and waiting for the right truck and the right deal. Very few access cabs for sale. On one site there were 200 4x4 tacomas for sale, 183 were double cabs

Why no double cab? looking for the longer bed? That's definitely what you gotta do, check for new listings everyday and wait for the one that fits the bill. I had looked at 3 trucks over the past 3 weeks, the others were alright but not nearly as good condition wise as the one I just bought. And always check the frame... couple of the ones I looked at claimed to be california trucks but were full of corrosion and had been smogged in other states.

Yeah, I'd rather have the longer bed and can sacrifice a little cab space. I never have passengers in the back anyways, and if we really need rear seats Madison still has a double cab.
Oh yeah I'm paranoid about the frame! I've seen a few Canadian trucks brought over to the US for sale with low miles and they look immaculate, but no frame pics. If the hitch looks spotless I consider it, but it's still a gamble.

Access cab, excuse NOT to fill extra non existent seats :p

I never even thought about that first part, but you’re right. But with all that bullshit, society is doomed in my opinion.

Agreed. But it's the governments fault for kids behavior these days.

Its also governments fault for parenting failure.
Take the ability to discipline kids away from parents and this is what you get.

Once kids found out they had power over their parents by being able to threaten then with child abuse things started to go down hill and parents started to tip toe around their kids.

And I am not saying child abuse claims shouldn't be investigated or those that do abuse children shouldn't be put down. Just saying society tends to react to one extreme or the other and doesn't think about long term affect.

Sup fellas - I'm going to be coming down to the Chino area starting on Thursday and wanted to see if anyone was wheeling on Sunday? Or even on Friday? I wanted to check out some trails while I'm down in SoCal!
