Those numbers are a little on the lean side. 10 would be a little rich when at wot, high 12’s is a little lean. You see 14.7 in closed loop because that’s what your ecu is trying to maintain. You cant do too much with closed loop tuning and the stock ecu on our trucks (your 7th injector may allow a little more than most). With the engine under load and at full boost it needs to be much richer than that.

Gotcha, that's great "bad" news in my book as it finally confirms what I've suspected for awhile...now I need to begin the tedious process of getting the 7th injector tuned right. No rush but if you happen to hear from Gadget regarding the issue we talked about in your shop, shoot me a message :fistbump: I'm going to email them as well to see if they can send me the Split Second tuning software/CD that I need to make it happen.

    High Numbers are lean.
    Low Numbers are rich.

14.7 is normal for closed loop.
11s are where you want to be in open loop.

yeah I'm not seeing 11s at all in WOT, nothing below mid 12's so that explains the pinging I'm still getting. Still need to do some more pulls to make a solid assumption but that's what it's looking like. Also good to know that I'm not running rich, because after installing the 7th last summer I was worried about that happening. So if I had to guess, my 7th injector is adding/spraying too little fuel too late in open loop.

I would rather run rich than lean.

Lean could = bad bad things
Scary to think how lean you were running before the 7th injector.

Oh yeah, for sure. Probably explains why my OEM cats went toast at only 55k miles. Also who knows how the PO drove it like that when he had the truck.

To be fair, 35's sound like a pain the ass too, haha

Pinging is a curse of the supercharged 1st gens, unfortunately

goddamn he's quickly going to have one of the most badass 2nd gens around. Fully locked, 35s, armored and supercharged. Did he win the lottery? lol

He's crazy. My opinion is you only need that SC if your trying to be a fast long travel rig. Dont really see the point in a mid travel offroad vehicle having it unless your rich.
But lucky Ryan bought his awesome first gen with it so that doesn't apply to him.

I'm too deep into the blower game to give up now...if it blows up my engine I'll sell it to afford the rebuild, lol.

33s will happen soon regardless, front locker/regear later down the line

ooooooh yeah...automatic -10 points. Front lockers and 35's still won't help when you're high centered on a mound of dirt :D

    Question...
So if I throw some steel wheels on my truck is it really going to be that much of a difference over stock wheels? I feel the answer is no but I'm being paranoid that I'm gonna tank my mpg or something :goingcrazy:
