Actually thinking of leasing a Chevy bolt.

I was thinking nissian leaf originally but that has half the range and I keep reading about battery issues.

    Toyota has nada for EV.

My father had a Volt for a few years, he loved the thing. I drove it a few times and it was a nice car.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
It's a hybrid but I keep saying the Hyundai Sonata is a fantastic car. I loved the rental I had. Felt like my space ship.

Not interested in a Hybrid but a Plugin Hybrid would be okay since its basically and EV with a gas backup generator

Any reason why? I was getting like 50~60mpg on it. I can't see myself being interested in a plugin unless I had solar.

Depending on where you live you can get a time of use electrical meter just for your charger. It will allow you to charge during off-peak hours for a much lower rate than if you were just charging your car thru your normal meter.

3 hours free charging @ the office.
Loop hole to get more than 3 hours is to unplug and then plug back in.
Couple of other guys in the office have EVs and they already work together to move each others cars around depending on whose in a meeting and who is free.
