Haha looks like the older version of my rig. Love it.
Meanwhile I'm trying to make more power without blowing it up.

Yea she was fun. Picked it up for cheap and then found out why. No 360 welds, half assed everything, zip ties galore. Half wired with an extension cord lol. After a the motor went out I stripped it, built the motor and trans, sent shocks off for rebuild and had the cage gone thru front to back. Was fun after that

His steering rack shit the bed & the dealer is blaming it on lift & tires, $2,400 tab. Going back to stock should remove their heads from their asses to cover it.

True but they could probably get away with saying that those mods combined with offroading contributed to a steering rack failure...it sucks but I wouldn't think it to be too far of a stretch. If it were me I'd try another dealer, some are more forgiving with mods than others.

Funny cause there were several other Toyota’s following closely behind you in a small group...

On Sunday morning? We did have a group of T4Rs behind us on the way up for awhile, one or two Tacomas I think as well. There were TONS of offroaders up in BB this weekend, was packed full of them.

Luckily Gold wasnt too crowded. Passed a group of 3 full size Chevy Silverados on the first shelf obstacle, they were all trying to figure out how to get up it with their street tires and side step rails lol. I walked up the middle line and they said they were going to follow, but we stopped for lunch and beers a little ways after that for about an hour and they never showed up.

hell yea  it's been a minute since we've wheeled together lol

Was thinking about doing Heartbreak Ridge on the next BB trip, still want to do John Bull too actually but that original group run is still TBD so maybe we could do it later this month

Yea it was def you. We ran heartbreak and squeeze Saturday. Camped at Holcomb valley, the place was freakin packed never seen it that busy. Took off Sunday morning

Also all this rain has made heartbreak better, in the sense more exposed rocks less loose crap on top. Was a good time
