3rz’s are very available, net slightly less power, have fewer moving parts, require less modification to the truck, weigh less, smaller in general and easier to work on

Yep I’ve been doing some research on this for a long long time. I’m sold and mind is made up lol

Also something to consider is my truck weighs less then 4K lbs so it may not seem like a lot but anything over 150hp is gonna feel amazing

That's what I'm saying. I didn't buy this truck for gas mileage but it seems like something isn't right. The engine sounds smoother after plugs, in comparison to my old truck's 4.0 that had over 200k miles on in and got 16mpg, this one's brand new. And I haven't yet checked the fuel filter but it's just one more thing on a list of things I gotta check. Just seems really strange to me.

The prerunners do tend to get slightly better gas mileage, but it’s pretty minimal

Of course. I fully expected to get around 13-15mpg with 4x4 once I added everything to the truck. But like I said I was getting 17 last month and to drop to 9mpg without any vehicle changes is fishy. My old prerunner had full racks, shell, sliders, and IFS skids. New one has none of those except for the IFS skids.

Yeah 9mpg isnt right. Keith had a similar issue with similar mileage with his truck before we did his supercharger. I know his mileage is a lot better now. You may ask him what he did.

Set up Torque Pro to graph the oxygen sensor. They can go bad without throwing a code. Somethings not right and my bet would be on the O2 sensor.

How do my comments in other threads always start a shit show? Even when I'm not intentionally a dick it starts a shit show. Am I that big of an asshole that I can't even accurately the gauge the level of cunt-ery behind my words?

Restructuring and finding investors is sometimes a really good thing for companies. Sometimes it's the death knell. You have very valid reasons to be concerned about any outstanding orders you have with them. So does everyone else. It'll be interesting to see what they post about the situation. Not posting anything other then "we'll explain later" is pure BS. Be honest, be upfront and offer refunds if you can't meet production goals. They didn't and that worries me.
