I grease them once, after that I use the spray for the squeaks. Once a year I grease them.

Never had heims squeak on me and I have 5 per side. Might want to swap out bushings and get some that have heims.

I honestly can't tell because my solid motor mounts with the inline 4 has massive vibration anyways which is carried through the cage but, I did have an old kit that had them and it really wasn't anything worse than hearing the road noise from my tires. Body mounts absorb quite a bit of vibration through the entire chassis.

I've got an S2 as a dust light, I think I have the combo lens. My buddy has a spot and his can be seen easier further away.

@AssBurns I'd go with the wide cornering pattern. Feels like the right middle ground between the work/scene pattern and the spot pattern.

Haha if you'd be open to two lights then yeah. One combo, one work/scene. Boom done.

    Agreed!

BD doesn't list an amber S2 with combo lens on their website, however they do sell an amber combo lens in their replacement lens page. Might be best to grab a combo lens (spot / wide cornering)

On my links I have, but that just tells me it's time to replace them. Normally only hear it when smashing through bigger whoops, never on the street. I've had the same UCA heims since 09 and my truck has seen a lot of abuse.

I’ve never had a complaint about my heimed uppers. Even though my truck isn’t my daily. I still packed on miles and miles driving it from Cali and Utah. I feel like it was smoother and better than the bushings on and off road.

But your truck bottoms out easier than a fat chick bending over in yoga pants 2 sizes too small. :)

(get it? Her bottom would be out after they rip....)

Alright, I'll see myself out. :anonymous:

I've got a single 40w "scene" light on my tailgate. White LEDs but amber cover when on the trails. It's about the perfect reverse light thru limo tint, great for setting up camp, great dust light as long as it's not a clear night & they're not riding my ass...then it's painful lol

    Hahahahaha well played.

That is true. 700 pound springs and factory ads tuning didn’t ever have enough compression. Probably has to do with me driving my truck like an asshole But the new one doesn’t have a front bumper and winch yet so that may not be an issue... yet.

Even when my truck was my DD it never squeaked. To be fair though, I never took them through mud, rain and or creeks very often.

I personally love Amber Driving/Combo for a dust light pattern. Spot is a little too blinding at times and Wide Cornering doesn't always have enough punch through the dust. The Driving/Combo is the perfect blend.

Can that option be ordered, or do you need to buy the light and the lens separately?

So I got a Cooper Discoverer ST tire mounted yesterday as a temporary replacement until my St Maxx gets delivered from Texas (fucking things are hard to come by apparently)....I'll have to upload a pic, but the Discoverer tire is almost a full inch skinnier than the other ST Maxx tires despite having the same size written on the sidewall, it looks sketchy actually...like it barely wants to stay on the rim. Sort of nervous to take it up to Big Bear this weekend lol. Will probably avoid airing it down so that it doesn't come off the bead, hopefully

I mean, I go camping in a prius and it's super practical. Drive into the camp site, don't need to bring a tent, keep the heater at 70F. Works year round from January to December.

Ironically, the Tacoma or 4runner is less practical. :p

I actually saw a Prius with a roof rack and RTT mounted to it when I was in Bend, OR this summer visiting my brother  Also saw an old VW bug with one but that was kind of cool looking tbh.
