thanks man, yeah they're technically the same size just different structure I guess. It'll make for a better spare than the KO2 will anyway once my other Cooper comes in next week.

I'll get you guys those pics tonight that I took with my camera last weekend, been a crazy work week since we got back

yeah, that's super lame. the only cool feature of the prius is that it can keep you warm on 18f nights in yosemite and only have to burn 2 gallons of fuel.

yeah, my impression is that he's just a cry baby and doesn't want to take the responsibility/ownership of his vehicle. i met this other guy on a trail, he's some real-estate guy from LA. He was complaining about the creaking sounds of his Toyota Team Blue TRD Pro T4r after the first time he took it through Barstow toward Scouts Cove/black mountain/rainbow basin. He said he was going to take it to the dealership to fix.

I was like dafuq u smoking? You decided to drive out here, this is normal wear and tear. deal with it or go drive on paved road.

you could move to NY and start renting out rooms on your truck for $3k a month, like a small apartment complex

haha yeah. I bought an ARB Simpson III, never slept in it because I was loaning it to folks while I built out my T4r and Taco. Helped them put it away on a few trips, said F this, sold it, and bought an Autohome Columbus. opens up on 10 seconds w/ a single latch. Much better.

Totally could do that w/ the habitat. I got like 20 sq ft. Still remodeling though. Gotta have that flushable toilet, sink, stove, and tv all in one.

Currently there isn't a very high demand for S2 Sport, Amber Driving/Combo, Flush Mount Pairs. If that changes, our teams will most likely create a part number and add the item to our system.

Right now you can buy 2 individual lights or a complete backup kit and change the lenses. Here are the wide cornering backup kits:

S2 Sport - Flush Mount - Backup Kit
S2 Pro - Flush Mount - Backup Kit

Except I'm not camping in campgrounds. I'm camping in places a regular car would have a lot of difficulty to get to if not impossible and carrying a fair bit of gear. More than necessary but stuff I want with me for fun or just in case.

And how did my post end up in this thread?

Simply put, what's practical for you, isn't practical for everyone. Your expectations aren't the same as everyone else's. So you shouldn't necessarily assume that your expectations are universal or realistic.

Exactly. I was asking for myself. It was others who are trying to tell me what I shouldn't or shouldn't do. I have a Tacoma, I want to go camping and do light off-roading with it. If I'd wanted a prius I would have bought one but it didn't meet my needs/wants. Why was I even brought into this conversation?

Which is why I asked the question I asked. And I have my answers - skids and sliders probably first and then shocks and springs to gain a couple inches. Sounds like it won't overly impact DD and give me the extra margin I want.

Maybe, but probably not. I don't really have any interest (or funds) in making major changes. A couple inches and a little armor should be sufficient for what I want to do. It's a nearly new truck so not looking to beat it up yet. In 5-8 years who knows.

I wanted the ST Maxx last year but couldn't find any distributor in SoCal that had it in stock. I feared what you're going thru so I ended up with Nitto. I'm sorry for your struggle
