    I mean...it can't be that bad if you go in the Fall/Winter months can it? Definitely didn't need any of that when we did Mojave in December...in April though it was on the verge of getting too hot during the day on one or two of the days.

    I'm a weenus when it comes to heat though so I wouldn't go anywhere near either of those places during the summer

    yeah for desert camping in the winter I'd be more concerned with trying to bring along some heating solutions for the nighttime....fucking Mojave in December was below 15 degrees at night the first night. No matter what you do it's hard to be prepared for that kind of cold when camping.

    We had perfect Desert weather. Wish I could do it this year. My family rented a beach house in oceanside for thanksgiving weekend. But Ill probably bail that Friday to go hang with @AssBurns in Ocotillo wells:devil:

    Problem with Thanksgiving weekend is that it’s packed out there.

    @YumaTRD and I did a night run this past Saturday in the washes west of Ocotillo and it was great. Very few people out there but Thanksgiving gets crazy.
