    Talking about Cougar Buttes reminds me that's one of Alex's favorite places to wheel, so he said....anyone heard from him lately? Haven't seen him here or on IG where he usually posts, hasn't been active since May. Hope he's doing ok.

    As of last month his 3rd was still broken and I think he was considering getting an aftermarket axle but was having a tough choice deciding what to do. Before that he had a lot of issues at work and a new-ish born child. I think he got sick of Instagram too.

    "Cooler out" Sheesh, It's still 95* outside here according to my thermostat. That being said, I put down a deposit last week for sliders with @Shmellmopwho so once those go on I'm gonna be ready to hit some trails too. I miss the trails even when I was just 2wd. I want to hit up big bear in the winter since my Gf says she's never seen snow :cool:

    yeah I looked at the weather earlier for Cougar Buttes and it's going to be in the 90s....Autumn, what the fuck is that? Also just read on Weather.com that we're supposed to have an unusually warm winter this year on the west coast, so there's that *sigh*

    Big Bear is in the cards soon for sure, they should still get plenty of snow up there once winter hits.

    Oof. Yeah that doesn't sound good for autumn or winter. I remember the first week we had of cool weather, I went out and started working on the truck and installing shit. Just can't stand getting out there in 100+ degrees. However, when it's warm here theres always the option to go where it's cold. So definitely big bear trip for sure. It would be cool to plan an out of state trip and go north. But work schedules get crazy in November.

    yeah this is the best time of year (through April-ish) to do anything truck related - repairs, maintenance, wheeling, etc. Just sucks that it gets dark at like 5:30 lol.

    You'll love the sliders, I have a set of Ryan's @Shmellmopwho 's sliders on my 04...they can take a beating

    @eon_blue and @Supra4x4

    I’m all in for some wheeling in Big Bear. My son was born 8 days ago so I have to wait a little bit to go wheeling and make sure that the wife and I have the whole 2 kids thing under control but my first wheeling trip a couple weekends ago with my daughter was a huge success so my wife is cool with me bringing her more often now. Late fall early winter wheeling I’m in for sure!

    Right on buddy! Sounds like a plan. And thank you very much! He’s a cool little dude. I’m definitely gonna keep him.

    Thanks a bunch! It’s tough but I love it at the same time. I love how small my little guy is and want to try to cherish every bit of the process. Sometimes it’s nice to just chill on the couch and watch tv with him on my chest. Sometimes my 3 year old daughter is waaaay more work lol. But I understand what you’re saying. My wife said she feels like she’s done after this one. We’ll see. I’m not opposed to a 3rd but we’ll have to see how things go. I just ordered a Prinsu for my wife’s Lexus GX460 so we’ll have a lot more room to put stuff on the top and more room for everyone inside lol

    I’m pretty sure you have to at least be having sex for that to happen.... and no. Your right hand Jill doesn’t count.
