I hit my low point a few weeks ago. Now I just expect mold, dry rot, or something else, whenever I open a wall.
My heating / AC contractor was opening up a wall last week and I just said he was tempting fate.

Was supposed to get all the asbestos wrapped ducting removed this week. Well that didn't happen because it was all chewed up by rodents at some point so now to get it removed we need to have a consultant make a plan, get the plan approved by AQMD, then have the abatement company remove it following the plan.

Time and Money, Time and Money.

Shit! I had to have an asbestos abatement co remove all my popcorn ceilings it hurt the wallet something awful. I understand the fear of opening up walls all too much. It will be over soon enough though man. Your place will be dialed and you will get to just enjoy, and do minor maintenance. I can't wait to just have minor shit to deal with hahaha

Damn. I work saturdays plus my truck has nothing but a couple of skids on it for armor. I'll probably be wrenching on the truck this upcoming Sunday to get my coilovers and bumper put on. I think I have $5,000 worth of gear that's waiting for it's turn. :boink:

I hit up Yotamac to see if he can help me with gears a few days ago, waiting for reply.

Dang you’re ahead of schedule! I’m quite looking forward to that. My GF is 5’4” and hates the climb into the truck so the sooner the better.

Been trying to crank them out in whatever spare time I have lol. Still getting used to having 2 kids. Gotta help with my new little one as much as I can so my wife doesn’t go crazy with both of them hahaha. They’ll be ready soon buddy and we’ll get your GF to love getting in your truck again.

Well had to drive to Escondido this evening. My dad had a stroke and my sister had to take him to the ER. I'm really glad he moved from AZ back here near my sister .

He seems to be doing well at this point but will be in the hospital for a few days.

Dang, super sorry to hear that Keith. Your dad is in our thoughts and prayers. Hoping he recovers well and quickly from that. Hoping the stroke was very minor!

Only reason I’m up right now is cuz I’m feeding the baby

Thanks all. He is doing well. Physical Therapy is in the room now and he seems so annoyed with all the questions. Which is a sign to me that he is doing well.

I'll be cross posting this and emailing a few vendors as I'm usually better retarded when it comes to just pulling the trigger....
    Icon uca
    Maxtrac spindles
    Bilstein 6112 fronts
    Bilstein 5160 rears...
What leaf pack or add-a-leaf should I look at? Just looking to level it after the spindles go on, would appreciate a better ride but....its no LT truck so I'm not expecting anything better than stock

Depends on the amount of weight you plan on carrying.

Dakars are a decent budget pack but they are not that progressive and will ride a little harsh unloaded. If you don't plan on too much weight I would take that into consideration. Maybe go with the lighter version?

Not going to make this run.

I got the "yeah babe, thats fine."

Which means no, that's not fine and you'll regret this decision for a long time... :anonymous:

Alright man. No worries. I understand. After almost 8 years of marriage and 2 kids I’m aware of the subliminal messages. Now knowing it would take a lot for my wife to leave me, I actually take the “yeah babe, it’s fine” and just go for it lol. If she’s upset when I get back I say “hey, you said it was fine. Don’t play games with me woman!.............I love you babe, I’m sorry. You want a back rub?”
