The headwall is probably steepers than 55, but it "flattens" up a bit after the first 5 foot drop or so.

Here's a pic of it more level

I have a pic of me standing on the slope, down a bit, let me see if I can find it...

    Edit, here it is

Oh its steep as fuck. Fun though :D

But to the point, I don't think anyone would be able to drive up a slope thats 55°...

Quick shitty video from last weekend on Pilot Rock Trail. Likely going up that way again soon, so hit me up if you're in the area and not a dipshit. ;) Disclaimer: I'm a dipshit.

I'm sure many shops can do it, but I'd prefer to go to the source if possible. King is in Garden Grove (Orange Country, CA). Ground shipping should just be a day there and back, just a thought.

Side question, how many miles you put on them before the last rebuild?

I had ~20k on mine and got them rebuilt because I wanted a revalve mostly. But the guy that rebuilt them told me the oil inside was nasty AF and due for a change no matter what.

I had to change out the spherical bearings in the bottom at about ~12k miles, that's an easy DIY job though

Too expensive to go thru king. My old neighbor use to do mine for $60 plus parts and oil. Mine are way over due especially cause i wheel my truck. 65000 on fronts. Rears have been rebuilt
Ive broke 2 of the bearings in the bottom. Cracked in half after some hard hits. I carry extras.

Not scared at all. I dont have the space to do it or the right things. Thats not a drive way job to me. I want it clamped on a work table. Also dont have coil conpressor though i could probably do it with he shady ones.
