Here's a map for Rowher Flats and surrounding area. Also has the Drinkwater Flats trail we hit the other week. Still some here I have not tried north of that.

Me and @SlipperyTaco were thinking about exploring some of these ones the week after Rowher. I grew up close to this area but have never really hit the back roads. Wanna check out the patch of trails Northwest of San Gabriel Wilderness. Anybody ever been there?

I'm going to have to bail on this run. I had ever intention on going but I didn't realize I had da in-law's anniversary party the same day/ night.
I'm bummed out on not being able to make it, but I know they'll be other runs and I'm not going anywhere and neither our y'all so I'll check u all on the next one.
Ps. My friend/coworker Greg with the Red Jeep still wants to go with his wife. They want to camp too. I cannot believe that I came down that ridge trail on the left , as you are looking north from the main staging area at Rowher in 1975 in a 1966 Toyota FJ40. I went down it in the 80's and 90's on dirt bikes and could not believe we did not die
texas Canyon to the west used to be a shooting area, we used to have big "mountain Jam" concerts in the 70's where I had a generator to power a rock band set up, This Blind guy played robin trower and hendrix, deep purple stuff perfectly, it would attract hundreds , until the Sherrifs started catching on

 

Dude, I won't be camping but Greg is welcome on any trail I ever hit ever, period, that guy is awesome end of story!
