Great idea! Its hard to remember everybody. I think we need a volunteer or two to help the OP keep track of this. I will try. Sending @SlipperyTaco a private message is better otherwise you get lost in the BS

I just learned how to make my Alerts only show when I am quoted or when I get mentioned with @. I love it now

Since you got to give the wife some notice plan on going off roading July 16th with us. For this trip my vote is for Pilot Rock truck trail and trail 2N17 or Miller Jeep Trail. Kind of thinking we wait on Miller Jeep because I know at @eon_blue wants to get his rock sliders installed and do it again.

@dtaco06 I know you said you have done pilot rock and 2N17. Do you think this would be a fun challenging day for us?

is Miller Jeep Trail the same as Miller Canyon Trail? I've done that and it was pretty easy in a stock OR. just some huge ruts going across it

Funny you say that. They are different. Miller Canyon is off the 138 and has a couple trails by it which are the ones I mentioned. 2N17 and Pilot Rock Trail. Miller Jeep Trail is in Hungary Valley by the 5 freeway. To do Miller Jeep skids and rock sliders are highly recommended.

I had heard of Miller Jeep Trail in Hungry Valley but I didn't know if there were two of them due to the Miller Canyon by Silverwood. That Miller Canyon trail is steep. What's up with that Correctional Facility down there? Is that place active?

Good to know. I'm sure that nice book @digitaLbraVo and @eon_blue have could shed some light on this area...

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I can take a poke around when I get home. I'll see what she shows.

Usually they're planned earlier especially the big trips. Some of the in-between trips pop up sort of last minute, others are more planned...only real way to know for sure is to keep checking this thread. Yesterday I had no idea I would be wheeling Rowher Trail into the middle of the night, sure enough come 4:30pm the idea came up in this thread and next thing I know I'm out 4x4ing in the dark haha.

For the most part, I think the in-between runs are planned at least 2-4 days out. This Saturday I'm up for something a little more tame...I can't do MJT until my sliders are on. I just realized I still haven't been to Azusa yet @MADSTEEZE :boink:haha

So are we saying Pismo 16th/17th? Camp?
    Piano.

Azusa is eh. Great if you love mud trucks but honestly it can feel a bit crowded for gofast and there's not quite enough variety for a mid/full size pickup beyond the mud pits.

hmmm yeah I'm not big on the idea of mud, that's one type of off-road terrain I'd be fine with skipping lol. Clean up is no fun
