Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
It's pretty cool to cruise around a time or two the most "fun" part for me was actually the water crossings that were frame deep. After that it's sandy, cool dirt bike land, but not much for a pickup like ours.

It's famous for these big water pumps guys bring out and drop in the reservoir. They turn the beach/ish into a gigantic mud pit.

It's sand mud, so it's pretty easy to clean. Azusa is a great place to relax especially if it isn't too crowded and you get to watch idiots get stuck.

I've done Miller Jeep Trail once before and it's definitely fun.

Hungry Valley OHV is also fun, but definitely gets boring after a while.

Azusa starts with a 30 inch water crossing, then rocky shit, more rocky shirt, a few baby water crossings, more rocky shit, then sand, then rock shit, and then the resevoir water line and a small hill on the East side. It's boring. I usually go twice a year, or so. After my wife got her quad we have been doing desert a lot more

Only reason to go to azusa is to sit on the side lines drink beer and watch the mud boggers get stuck and break shit.

It will take me a hr to get to mjt. Let me know when someone is going so I can come. I haven't been on it in a while back but would love to mash it.

Taco is 2wd mid travel for the most part and armored fun for desert and I have a rear locker it's taken me pretty on some trails where you need 4wd.

Xj really easy to work on and if your new to working on cars you'll learn. I have an automotive back ground so usually do everything myself. There cheap to build up and great for wheeling just because of there wheel base and if I were to do it again I'd highly recommend a 1999 and up xj. Or really wranglers yj,tj those have more after market and way cheap to build up.

My taco is way beat up wish I got 4wd in the first place 2wd locked gets you far but sometime more trouble then it's worth on trails.

Now that was an informative answer ^. I've actually considered buying an XJ for a little while since like you said they're cheap to build up & easy to learn on :D. Why do you suggest 99' and up?
