I bet! Looking forward to doing it, I'm getting the coils and shocks pre-assembled and from what I've heard, that's the most difficult part...after that it's all just taking the old stuff off and bolting the new stuff in.

Yeah. Front is a lot easier than the rear because the 3 leaf AAL can be a pain.

I suggest buying some grade 8 bolts in advance for the leaf pack. I read that, then thought maybe I'd be okay. Snapped the first one and had to go buy some Grade 8 replacements. Actually had to ground down the heads of standard bolts to make them work. So expect that and plan ahead.

Also, ratcheting straps in advance to keep the rear axle where you want it was really helpful.

@eon_blue also, not sure on 1st gens, but check the factory leaf clamp positions with the AAL. You may have to cut one of them off. I did, and didn't find out until after mounting the pack. :frusty:

May not be an issue for you though.

@Sandtaco So....:boink: You did CMC, pinch weld mod, and cut the water guard to fit 33's with no rubbing right?

You didn't cut the fenders at all correct?

I had to get cmc then trim plastic wheel well then pinch weld mod.

Haven't heard much of it. @Yotamac has confirmed he's doing my CMC this evening. Won't have to worry about that for very long. Hoping that I won't notice any surprise rubbing once I leave the pavement, but @Sandtaco doesn't have issues so I'm optimistic.:fingerscrossed:

Everything is different, remember if you two have different size width tires or backspacing is different.. there's all kinds of factors to consider. Settle that you will rub and just cut whenever it does only as much as you need.

I keep a utility knife in the truck (for work, but also for trimming lol), along with a few other tools if needed. I snip and trim whenever I hear it I've basically got it all under control now. Only on an extreme stuff do I hear the tires grabbing something.
