Only redeeming quality of the thing is.... Um... Well it can do burnouts? Lol. It couldn't even beat the Firebird in a race when it had every advantage on paper practically

Ah I would if not for the fact that I need to work to recoup the money I spent on said lift, lol. Just sucks knowing it's being delivered every day this week but taken back because I'm not there....so close yet so far!!

Dropped my truck off at Toyota today for an oil change and asked them to look into why I'm overheating when in 4lo for extended periods of time. I'm 99% sure it's the electric cooling fans not working well enough, but just want to confirm that's it and not a radiator issue or my water pump going bad, or something. Will keep y'all posted

    You know that I am!!!!

Not sure where though as it seems a bit quiet from the usual suspects...:spy:

I thought a group was planning on Pismo, then that seemed to go silent.

@Spvrtan recommended a trail down by the mexican border, and doesn't look like that's gaining much traction.

    So.. I don't know.:notsure: But I'm definitely going somewhere!:mudding:

I'll be in OC/LA this weekend. Not sure if my GF will want to go wheeling, but if you are somewhere near there, let me know. I'm always down for a quick ride.

Well I'm trying to talk my daughter in to another Sunday trip. It would have to be something that won't make her nauseous though. That's why Pismo sounded like a win for her.

LA/OC is where I live. Definitely down to wheel, but I tend to drag out my Saturday trips. Besides, there really isn't much that doesn't tune in to an 8 hour ordeal with travel time.

Yeah that is what sucks about LA. In SB we have a couple trails that you can complete in 2 hours with travel time.

Just saw this thread and now I'm a little worried...seems like a lot of people with 5100's are having them leak a bunch of oil or blow out completely after only several thousand (or less) miles. Seems to be an issue with the rear shocks mostly. I know a lot of us in this thread have 5100's, anyone notice any oil leaking from theirs?

I haven't noticed any issues, and you see how I wheel.

It could be from lack of use. haha

I've heard of this a lot. Luckily, they are cheap to replace. This factor went into my deciding to keep them on my tacoma, but I didn't mind replacing a 100 dollar shock even if it was every 10000 miles.
