'SpinTires' is supposedly another awesome off-roading game, I've resisted the urge to buy it...I'd rather just wheel my actual truck, haha.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    It's not very good.

The appeal wears off quickly. Especially when you really know how wheeling works.. it's not really a rock crawler or anything like that. You hump mud, cross some water, MAYBE climb a log or two... I'd say a "better" offroading game is
    [IMG]

But even that left a lot to be desired as the mechanics of offroading don't really apply...

It's really unfortunate no decent well done (NFSUG2 style?) offroad racing games exist...

    'hump mud' you say?

haha yeah I can't say for sure which ones are any good as I haven't played any, I feel like it would just give me a stronger than usual urge to take my truck out and hump some mud of my own :D

Yeah the urge is never satisfied. I'd appreciate a good offroad racing game that covers just trophy trucks, as long as the physics are there and the customization exists.

If someone did a game that is open-world ala The Crew, with heavy customization and real quality offroading? Oh shit that'd be great.

Shame on you for even suggesting such a thing. It's currently moving in that direction though. If it does burn it will be closed for years....so lets hope it does not.

That's not good...my dad lives in your neighborhood too I think (Bridgeport area). Is it out near San Francisquito or closer to the 5?
