On a side note..

So I added a splice to connect the other positive wire to the raptor lights and boom! They work with the headlights on now.

I think at some point I'm going to spread them out a little more. It was a pain in the ass so that probably won't be anytime soon.

 

Looks good! Spreading them out might be a bit better but F that they work!

 

For what it's worth, I've been doing commercial photography for a living for the last 6 years and have always shot Nikon both personally and professionally for the majority of that time. The last year, I've been working full-time in-house for a worldwide fashion company and they provide all the equipment, which camera-wise is mostly Canon and Hasselblad.

As for the Canon vs. Nikon debate, I've never had an issue with any Nikon camera I've had. To me, it's all just a matter of preference. Having worked closely with both over the last year I honestly could tell you, side by side images won't look different in any negative way. Of course the medium format Hasselblad trumps them both, but we've had several reliability issues with our HD40 over the last year. Hassy's produce unparalleled imagery but their reliability kind of sucks, to be honest.

Anyway....the camera debate has and always will go one for eternity. It's really just a matter of what you're used to and what feels most comfortable in your hands (when comparing competitive camera models)

I'm pretty happy with it. Only going to last until I change the grill. Probably in the fall when the TRD Pro grills come out. Then I'll have to decide should they stay or should they go now...
