You can buy the cutout from @zscott separately.

I would get mine with the cut out so if i pull the trigger soon Ill let you know. Do you not like light bars? I know a lot of people hate on em lately calling em "bro bars". I think it looks really clean tucked in the prinsu. And a flood light up top is great for night wheeling.

Truthfully, I got the cutout for the reason you mentioned: the clean tucked in look. If it's just the bar then I'm not a fan of that look. After further data inquiry the reasoning behind ditching the bar for HIDs is for distance lighting purposes. HIDs go further than LEDs. HIDs give distance for low draw, and halogens give distance for high draw. LEDs don't provide distance, but can't be beat for area light at ultra-low draw.

Gonna get the warmest color HIDs I can afford. 55w is what I'm shooting for but 35 is normal.

Gonna go with leds for area lighting for setting up camp at night and such. I have a couple Cali raised amber pods I'll use as rear flickering dust lights.

Great thing about the Prinsu is the copious amount of mounting options for lights -- and well all kinds of offroad treats.

Yeah the prinsu is a litte pricey. @icetreye needs to start up a business making affordable racks. His rack around the soft topper is sick!

Did you get any pics from your trail run this past weekend?

I got mine off a group buy. 500 and change. Not cheap but not as pricey as some other outfits out there

(speaking of softoppers)...a softopper is on my list of upcoming mods too. There's a potential group buy happening for them if anyone is interested in joining, the more we get on the list the better chance we have of getting them to commit to a group discount!

Oh for sure. Had I went with cab rac and topper rac I would been in over a G. No topper for me so no worries there. 4runner racks are pricey via Prinsu but that makes sense.

I'd be down to trade my non-cutout. I've been considering getting a light bar up top, not anytime soon but eventually.

I hate how they look on the roof personally unless they are low profile. Depends on the truck too, but most of the brodozers with 2 lightbars on the roof are weird. That is why I put mine under my rack. Prinsu's mounting is nice too.
I have HID headlights and LED bars. Its great!
