Good stuff. Relentless is another great player in the armor world. I've heard plenty of good from people with their products.

Quality of welds is nuts. I'm convinced that once their lead times are down, they will be a top contender.

I have yet to see Relentless up close but I'm sure their welds are on point given their reputation.

I've had a lot of companies do fab work and they are among the best. Worth the wait in my opinion. They also have let me pay things off monthly so I can afford things a lot easier. They just moved shops so I think they are catching up on old orders then trying to get ahead. They don't outsource anything to other shops so they are slower. Small operation. Hopefully they are big some day!

You can check out my bumper when I get it!

Word. All the same reasons I went Pelfrey. Phenomenal welds, local enough for pickup, and they also allowed me to make payments. They're looking to move into a larger location as well. They're trying to get a building big enough for them and their powder coater. However, after speaking with them it seems California may be pricing them out of here and possibly to Texas. Not surprised. California sucks for small businesses. All businesses really. They want to stay but business is business, ya know? Glad I got my armor before having to pay an ungodly amount on shipping. Where is Relentless located?

Yeah. The only non cutting front is Pelfrey and it is a full front end replacement. The 4Runner made it difficult for making replacement bumpers without making them ungodly large.
CA sucks man. My rent is insane at this new place my girlfriend and I are moving to next month. Businesses can't survive here unless they are already massive.

Relentless is in Sparks, NV. If you want local to CA after Pelfrey leaves, Bruteforce is in Fresno I think.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Moving to CO as soon as my girlfriend finishes PA school.

Shipping for my Bruteforce bumper was only 80 bucks.

Most definitely. Washington or Idaho I'm thinking. Oregon is cool but they're the next Cali in terms of gun laws and well, they just don't want Cali transplants anymore.

I've foregone online vendors due to shipping and tax. I'd rather work with a local fab and get something that's solely mine.

$80 in beer is a good evening, afterall.

When I lived in Santa Monica my roommates and I paid over 3k a month for just an okay apartment. This was in 2009. It's just ridiculous.

Nope. I'm making the drive on September 20th. Girlfriend and I are doing Yosemite, Sparks, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Big Sur for the week. Possibly a stop in Napa.
Our rent is 3k a month. We are getting a 2 bedroom with another couple (our best friends) so it isn't awful, just not great.

I love Oregon, went there every summer as a kid, but they seem to be on some kind of Cali fast track, so I guess I'd rather go to a state that isn't nearly as green and as beautiful to avoid being in a state that is just re-incarnating itself into another Cali.

Anyhow this seems to be a life cycle of Cali- there is only so much room here and its well researched how certain social economic classes fly out of here due to economic pressure and that void quickly fills and the cycle repeats every generation or so. Going on a trip to Texas in October and honestly its 50% vacation 50% recon to leave SoCal.

CO is more beautiful and less hipsterish. Still headed that way though.

Colorado certainly is another good option. I need to explore more out there. Only been once but I loved it.
