Alright so there was a little talk of it in the Oc thread but everyone seems to hangout here now. Thinking of yellow post camping around here, http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/sbnf/recarea/?recid=74096 @MadTaco461 found this.. Still open to suggestions. But I haven't camped in a while and itching to get back out there. Who's downnnnnnn

That's practically in my back yard. I haven't been up santa rosa mt yet but I have been up Thomas mt a bunch and there's always spots available there. the sites on Black mt are the best but are often full during camping season.

Yeah, I've been on Thomas and Black mt, love them, but Black Mt does get filled. Do you happen to know any other trails/yellow post spots in that region?

Looks pretty cool. If you check their site for FAQs they do the math and if you only buy 2 pints a week at the normal price, you'd pay about $780 so you're already saving over $300 a year. Plus you get nifty "members only" exclusives. I've never been but if the beer is any good, I may consider it.

Thomas, Black and Santa Rosa are the only YP sites in the area that I know of. I've heard that Santa Rosa can sometimes be a nuisance with all the hikers, bikers and low clearance autos going up and down it. I like Thomas because its a loop, not much traffic and there's also a camp spot on the summit that has great views and some privacy. The trails in the area are also very easy unless there's snow on the ground. For some reason I haven't done many of the truck trails, my family has a cabin off HWY 74 so I usually leave the area for some new scenery. Normally, camp up there for a quick weekend getaway to get out of the desert heat.

Since we're on the topic of campin.....I went up to Ventura/Oxnard last weekend to take an exam for a job it was a 4 hr drive so I made a weekend trip of it. I planned on staying at some free campsites on HWY 33 but when I arrived at the ground I found that there was way too many people to enjoy camping. I prefer to camp where I can walk around camp in my birthday suit between 9PM-7AM and not offend anyone. Anyways..... I wasn't about to book a hotel or anything so I headed further north. Every forest service road I came upon had the gates closed and locked for hunting season, so I kept driving north. I finally came upon a paved road that looked somewhat promising so I took it. (I'm not trying to give too many details to try and keep the spot a secret, If your interested then PM and the coordinates are yours) We drove for a couple miles until I noticed a nice turn out on my left. I pulled off and followed a set of tire tracks between a couple bushes to a nice secluded site. We found our "dispersed campsite" for the night, it had already been used by many in the past as a rock fire pit had been built and there was trash all around camp (after a few margarita's me and the lady friend walked around and picked up all the trash we would find, I ALWAYS pack out more then I pack in.) We witnessed a great sunset that night and enjoyed the views until we left the next morning. Here's a few of the pics I was able to grab...

Am I understanding this right? I can place 2 orders. Each order containing 2 tires and receive a $75 rebate for each order? And then place a 3rd order so I have my full size spare?

I've seen a few builds from South of the border. Some are really nice.....some look good in pics....and some....questionable all around. This looks like the middle one. Looks good in pics, curious as to any actual usable mods

Lol after looking at it a few more times, I wasn't sure if it was just a Tacoma with a 4Runner front, or a 4Runner turned into a Tacoma.

Part of me actually likes it. But I think that's due to the fact that I LOVE the front end of the new 4runners....
