Rowher Flats is so awsome after the rain!! Always a huge mud pit at first staging area when you come in off Sierra and if you go right past staging area and make a left that will take you to the rest of the big puddles. And they can get pretty big being at the base of the canyon.:headbang:

My suggestion would be save up some more money and buy a lift so you can get 285s.

Thanks. That trip was a long time ago after I got the wheel and tires. The truck was stock back then.

My wife was REALLY mad I bought the truck home in that muddy condition.

You will be fine.. Unless you decide to lift then you will want tires again

Truck feels a little heavier if though I went with the P rate tires to save some weight. Also, it feels more planted to the ground solid feel. A tad bit longer braking distance too. Over all I'm very pleased with the out come. FYI tires do rub on full lock turns ,so I have to remove my front flaps which I have yet to do.
I would go with the 265/75 if I where you looks better and I think it would work with your future lift.

Bravo on your decision. I'm at 265 now and have really enjoyed them. Never an issue with rubbing (at stock suspension) and have stayed away from needing spacers. However, Cleghorn was my first run since installing my kings with the BAMF relocation kit for my rear 12" shocks using stock wheels. Since it was my tuning run I didn't go buck nasty but I did notice some rub onto my shock body and so it looks like I need to buy some wheels with a better backspace which sucks because that takes duckets I could have used for more practical mods. Nevertheless, I'm going to drop down to a 16" wheel from 17" so I can go pizza cutters: 255/85/16. However, as always, each of us should be gearing our build toward our personal needs. I'm a so-cal dominant mid-travel expo rig and see tall and skinny fitting my needs more. Here's a link to some solid info for a fellow stock size or less kinda guy: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/255-85-r16-owners-experience.155849/
