I really liked it. It is by no means challenging. But if you're looking for a scenic trail then this one is great.

This weekend several of us are headed up to Big Bear but the following weekend we can plan a trip out to maybe Rowher or Gorman, both of which aren't that far from the Sunland area. There's also Azusa out the other direction (off the 210 east), but 4wd is probably necessary since the only way I know of to get to the trails is through the deep water crossing right at the beginning. Also further down the 210E/15N is Cleghorn, which is more like Rowher

But Rowher is a lot of fun and has a variety of trails to do, from easy fire road stuff to moderate/technical 4x4'ing. After this weekend we can start to plan something for the next one  Assuming I make it back from Big Bear in once piece, lol.

I'm in for Gorman Oct 1st. Or we can go check out Wildomar OHV. Heard its a little small but should be fun to check out. There also a number of fire roads around for a scenic trip.

I think Rowher is more fun than Gorman, unless we're talking MJT....then again I could see how Gorman would be fun for you guys and your Kings, all that wide open space :mudding:

Yeah thats kinda why i want to go. Going fast at Rowher play area chews up my tires real bad.

For anyone interested, @Dangerousd1987 and I will be running Burns Canyon to big bear lake to San Gorgonio campground Friday. Trailhead meetup at approx 9:00 am. Aggressive, high clearance stock vehicles can make this if you're good with the skinny pedal and execute proper tire placement.

That place is small. I live a few miles away from it. The trails can get intense. Hope you like pin stripes. It's more geared for dirt bikes and Side by sides.

If you chose to go off the main road. I would get out and walk to see what your getting into. Some of the side trails can be hard to back out of once you start. Have fun! Wish I could join you

It's fun. I'm pretty limited on it. I can flex like crazy, but some sections you need to pretty much send your truck into a roll and catch yourself by sticking your tire on a rock.

Few trails where you need to get creative.

Cleghorn can be sketchy to do on your own, not just because of the off-shoots but in my experience it's not hard to get a little turned around out there. If you go, be sure to stick to the main fire road and like Mike said, scout any off-shoots you're looking at before you drive them. Some are pretty gnarly even for 4x4.

I think Rowher is a much better place to do solo and it's much closer than Cleghorn, either way be safe! Wish I could come along but stuck at work
