700 would be good if you plan on the winch. Are the springs you have now 650? Should be able to loose the tire rub without upgrading springs. Have you trimmed plastic, folded pinch weld, and done the cab mount chop?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    That's what she said? :notsure:

Alot of times there ain't much you can do. I rub at the top of the wheel well and just don't worry about it. Are you sure you've cut back all plastics and such and you're not hitting the pinch weld? I've done some good damage to my tires due to that damn weld.

My only concern is if you do high speed the fender liner can rip out and wrap around the wheel if you g out.

I need to hammer down my pinch weld. I'm rubbing on it pretty bad. Whose got a sledge hammer?

I don't see it rubbing on pinch weld anymore, but better safe than sorry. So I do plan to cut and bend them back. I might be lightly rubbing on some plastic in the front. Not enough to worry about. I just don't like rubbing on the top sheet metal. Want to avoid any metal rubbing.

Now that I'm adding more weight, and knowing the spring I currently have is 650 with my Icons preloaded past manufacturer recommended limits, I like the idea of getting longer/heavier springs so I can compensate for added weight and reduce my current preloading.

I'd bet if someone did that to their truck on a fairly close to stock suspension they'd be in for a whole world of hurt.
I got one... should I bring it Saturday?

@MADSTEEZE has 33s with a 3" lift wonder if he rubs sheet metal at the top. Alex? I rub at the top just inside fender only cause I run 1.25 wheels spacers.but I'm an old 2nd gen

I set 'em up, you knock 'em down.... Anyway, one good thing I've got going for me, I haven't had need to do a CMC. Every time I have alignment done, I have them set it at max castor. Don't rub on the cab mounts. Plus aftermarket bumper coming soon, so won't have to worry about the front rubbing either. Hoping the pinch weld beat down coupled with the new springs will get me to where I want to be.

If anyone's interested in meeting up, I'm planning on camping/wheeling in Joshua Tree the 14-16. I kinda revived the JT thread also and was directed here.
