@eon_blue so now I really figured out what the knocking sound was in my truck. The rocksliders banging on the pinch weld below the door. Been getting a little loose from hitting rocks lately and not being welded or fully bolted yet doesn't help. Gonna weld em this weekend.

 

huh, makes sense. I was actually just reading a thread about bolt-ons hitting the pinch weld earlier this afternoon. Good call on welding them on, sounds like the best way to go

 

Ha! I had that exact problem too. It was driving me nuts, so I shoved some rubber between the pinch and slider

 

I'm not totally versed in aftermarket ball joint uca, do they come with a new ball joint unit and boot? Or does the original one just attach to the new upper arm?

I think your front end is held together by all the repeated heavy impact essentially welding everything into place

 

From what I read I think so. Though I do think you can go up to other trails in the area on a snowmobile

 

Im good with that , besides Ive already started to fall to the prerunner life

 

2wd traction is only an excuse to go LT anyway.

 

If you're only spinning 2, you gotta go twice as fast.
