BTW Corvettes are not "muscle cars."

Z06 Corvette C6, now that's the car I've always wanted.

Wait seriously? That thing better be a manual :D. Time to build a rally car, @MadTaco461 you guys can be the Miata Men
Some of the older corvettes can be argued as being muscle cars. The new ones nahh, even the new mustangs which were classic american muscle aren't muscle cars anymore

Due to the technology of the time, a solid rear axle and primitive IFS dictated the benchmark for limit handling. By this logic, all older generation performance vehicles could be termed "muscle cars." The Mustang was the original "pony car" (a play off its name and class leading horsepower) known for being fast off the line, especially with drag radials. Then it just became a battle from GM and Chrysler with the Camaro and Challenger for horsepower.

The Corvette on the otherhand, was always engineered from the frame up by Chevrolet for racing, as evident from its early success in the 24 hours of Le Mans GT class. The Corvette has always been marketed as a sports/grand touring car.

    Still winning too.:quickdraw:
    image.jpg image.jpg

And btw, A Miata wouldn't make a good rally car, frame being too low/narrow and lack of AWD. :cookiemonster:

@digitaLbraVo Nice mazda. I think Miata got knocked off that list a few years ago to be replaced by the convertible BMW 1 series. Haven't drove a MX5 yet, but I'm sure it's a really fun car. I still like my truck more, but for commuting it is nice to have a small car.

Dude exactly. The best part is with insurance and maintenance costs it'll all end up balancing out as basically netzero. The cost savings in fuel and tires will pay for most of the Miata's small payment. It's gonna get some love, probably a few auxiliary lights, new radio/nav panel, and maybe some underglow for showing up to Taco meets
That's why it's in double quotes, bruh!
I didn't look at the list, I was in the jacuzzi with the lady last night trading "Draw Somethings"

Bingo dude. And when you love these trucks like we* do you gotta get a car that is either "cool" or "fun." Those were my limits. If I didn't want to drive it I'd make excuses to drive the truck and then what was the point!

I had a Miata back in high school and sure some buddies of mine thought they were gay but who gives a fck what you drive in high school as long as you drive and the rest of your buddies are getting rides either from their mom's or waiting for the bus to arrive. Anyways I eventually got rid of my 93'miata after high school and upgraded to another Roadsterwhich is an AP1 Honda S2000 and it's just as fun driving it but a whole lot faster I gave that car to my brother and now I've been a Taco owner for 5+years now Had a 2nd Gen TRD sport and now I upgraded to the 3rd gen. Overall I always love those tiny cars growing up got respect for them they're like literally a lil oversize Go-Karts but I've moved now I'm gonna be hitting my mid 30's soon I need a vehicle that will do and fit my job along the way. But who knows I might just buy a 90's Miata in the future since they're so cheap nowadays and maybe become a side project and track it.. but I doubt it. Lol
