Just figured I'd give a heads up to @icetreye @stvstoy and any one else that's supposed to head up to Santiago peak that I won't be able to make it after all..

I'm out as well. And pretty much out for anything that isn't driving to and from work. I can't spend any more money for a while for reals this time... after my skid plate, which I'm only going to go with a front skid now instead of all 3. I don't like having debt.

Indeed. Hoping to have most of it paid off by the end of the year. Then I can resume fun. And the AR build

Stupid life getting in the way of having fun.

But don't you worry, I'll still attend our weekly Bruery meets. Luckily that's only a short drive away, just gotta limit myself to 2 beers max.

Nothing to be nervous about. The gpx files are there, your vehicle maintenance has been done, you know to wear proper ankle support, you're good to go. Like Mike Tyson said: Everyone has a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth. You're with a solid crew, home slice.

you'll be good. This sounds like a pretty mellow trip since its a family thing so not too much jolting around. If you have room up top I can bring a couple extra duratracs if you'd like. We'd have to dismount and mount them to your wheels by hand. It sucks, but it wouldn't be the first time I've done it. Actually, it would be the first time I've done that... with these types of tires. I've only done it with quad tires in the past.

I have a set of 4 stock 17" trd sport rims (no tires mounted-just rims) kicking it on the side of my house if you need to use them for spares. Just let me know. Beats trying to break a bead on a tire and un-mount it on the trail. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Go Aussie overlander style and mount that bitch on your hood. I've seen Crocodile Dundee. That's how the did it with their limited space badass landcruisers.

Or put it in the back seat with the kid. Heck with a booster seat. This is a guy's trip. Let him sit on a tire.
