Your probably about the same drive up to Bigbear as us out here in OC. Check the Bigbear trip thread coming up this weekend.

 

There are a lot of members out in that area, of course I'm drawing a blank on names right now lol but I know I've seen many locations in people's profiles from that area. Maybe start a new thread here in the regional forum for the desert region? You definitely have a lot of places to wheel out that way. There's a big meet up thread on here for a camping trip in Superstition in January

 

Wheeling so often is a double edged sword for sure, the money I spend on gas and maintenance from it all adds up so quick...I know @uhplifted is feeling the pain right about now lol

 

I was looking into that. I'm already heading to Ocotillo this Sunday but that's going to be with dirtbikes and some family. I'd like to get up there and try the harder packed dirt, i've spent too much time in the softer stuff down here for too long!

Not a bad idea, think i'll give that a try. I saw the Superstition trip, going to try to make out there i've never been there before.

I always seem to pick the most expensive hobbies. Photography, Firearms, and Off-Road Vehicles. I could file women there as well but that is more expensive no matter what kind of money grows on trees.

 

I'm hitting up the desert wednesday I think. Not sure if you are working next week. Still up in the air, but I'll keep you in mind when I'm out in ocotillo wells or Johnson valley.

I can't do Saturday as I am taking my daughter to the Zoo and Sunday im going over to @Yotamac to get the pinch weld flattened out.
