Might want to work yoga into those routines. as ridiculous as it is, it's probably the only reason I'm able to walk today and be the most flexible fatass around.

I'm gonna bend the pitch weld. It freaked me out when it started happening. Didn't really suspect the rock sliders cause I had em one for a year already. But they get used a lot and the driver side looks a little bent at the kick out so I think that's what did it.

Anybody up for a night run tomorrow? I'm thinking of going to Pilot Rock pretty much anytime after 7pm.

Hey for those of you who have 03-04 tacomas v6 have you guys heard about the long cranking time before the truck will start? Something about a factory grounding issue? My truck seems to crank longer then it should. Have you guys experienced this ?

I'm interested in hearing more about this. I looked at buying an 03 a few weeks ago after my 00 and 01 inquiries fell through [currently looking for a daily (admittedly, I fucked up and should have done things differently. Should have bought a first gen to bang around and mod out and kept the proven 2nd gen stock for reliability. And before anyone says anything, yes, the first gen is proven. But I'm talking mileage here) but fugh it. I'm balls deep now. No turning back. No regrats]. Anyhow, does this happen in certain ambient temps? Have you swapped all fluids? Changed plugs and harnesses since you bought the new used rig? Whenever I have bought a new used vehicle I swap all fluids, belts, plugs, harnesses, get an alignment, rotate and rebalance tires even if the previous owner tells me they recently did all that and even if they show me receipts. I also plasti dip at least 1 component and add 14 pieces of flare to keep true with office space. Haha. Ok, maybe I don't the last few listed items.

Hmm I have an 03 and haven't experienced this, except for maybe once or twice when it was pretty early and cold out.

Lol. That must be common train of thought.

I bought a 1st gen sr5 4x4, then realized I'd rather have an 85 pickup for the sfa and efi.

I thought most of pilot rock was gone after the fire. Been wanting to check it out.I know trail 2n17x is gone. I'd join you but I got a ton of work to do on the truck before the Mojave Trail next weekend.

haven't really experienced that... like spacecat said, maybe once after a really cold night. Definitely look into what greg was saying. Have the belts, and fluids been changed recently? Did the person who sold it to you have any paperwork on it? You might want to look into doing a little doctors check up. Change fluids, check belts, check spark plugs, things of that nature.

Edit: I'll usually get a "one-mississippi" of cranking before she turns over. How long is yours doing it for?
